Epic FHIR Integration for Mobile Phlebotomy
Integrated a mobile phlebotomy platform with Epic using FHIR APIs to retrieve patient-specific lab orders and make them available to mobile phlebotomists. The integration enables secure exchange of clinical information between the EHR and the phlebotomy workflow, reducing manual data entry and improving order accuracy. We implemented the integration around healthcare interoperability standards and designed the workflow to securely handle patient and clinical data.
